Embedded Multi Media Card (eMMC) is a single-chip storage solution that integrates flash memory chips and controllers. It has become one of the mainstream storage media in embedded systems due to its high integration, simplified design, stability, and reliability advantages.

eMMC integrates NAND flash chips and flash controllers into a single chip, eliminating the need for additional complex storage control circuits.
